Gazprom to start devt drilling at Kovyktinskoye in 2019

MOSCOW, Oct 19 (PRIME) -- Russian gas giant Gazprom will start production drilling at the Kovyktinskoye field in 2019 and gas supplies to the Sila Sibiri pipeline at the end of 2022, the company said in a statement on Friday.

“The company plans to prepare the locations for construction of exploitation wells and start drilling in 2019. The scheduled term of supply of the first gas from the Kovyktinskoye field to the Sila Sibiri pipeline is the end of 2022,” the company said.

Kovyktinskoye’s reserves stand at 2.7 trillion cubic meters of gas and 90.6 million tonnes of gas condensate under Russia’s C1 and C2 categories.
